Just Sew Studio is a proud authorized PFAFF dealership. We offer a wide range of services including certified repair and maintenance, many classes, and longarm quilting. Also in the shop we carry notions, threads, patterns, books and even embroidery designs.
Our classes are designed to get you sewing!!! Whether you want a quilting class, some time to sew away from home or are just starting out, we have something for you. Our class list can be found below and we update it often so check back soon. If you are brand new to sewing check out our Learn to Sew Program.

This package includes 4 classes with all fabric and patterns included. You will create three different projects and learn the skills to become confident with your machine and as a sewer. Let’s get sewing! 6-9pm
Learn 2 Sew More Project – Placemats $60 (Meets 3 times; includes instructions and fabric)
Tuesdays, September 10, 17 and 24 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Make your own decorative placemats while improving your sewing skills and learn to specifically to miter corners and use your decorative stitches in a fun and creative manner! In this beginner level class you will gain tips and experience in sewing, pressing and completing a professional looking product. This is an ideal next step after the Learn 2 Sew series.
Learn 2 Sew More Project – Wraparound Oven Mitts $60 (Meets 3 times; includes instructions and fabric)
Thursdays, Nov 7, 14, 21 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Make a wraparound oven mitt that will brighten any kitchen! In this beginner level class you will learn how to lay out and cut a pre-made pattern, basic machine quilting, and how to make and attach bias binding. This is a great primer class to take you from the basic techniques from the Learn 2 Sew series to more complex projects.
Saturday Sew-a-long – Crazy Trees Table Runner $50 (Includes pattern)
Saturdays, November 9 & 16 10:30-3:30 pm
Wonky Trees dance along this table runner or wall hanging. Use fat quarters or stash! Learn cutting, piecing and trim down techniques. This class isn’t just for quilters but for anyone who wants to do some sewing. Make it in classic or contemporary Christmas fabrics or make it for the cabin in wilderness fabrics.
The Perfect Little Bag $75 (Includes pattern and kit)
Friday, Oct 11, 18 and 25 noon – 3:00 pm
In making this handy little wristlet/shoulder strap bag you will install zippered pockets, bind edges, and make a multi-fold cards pocket (holds 10 cards). The zip closing, phone pocket and convertible handle will make it your go-to little bag. You bring your fabric and we supply the kit that includes the pattern, precut stabilizers, zippers, and hardware (a $30 value). This is an intermediate level project meaning you should be very comfortable sewing a straight line and working with your sewing machine.

‘Sewing for Others’ Workshop Free

Hey Quilters! We need your donations of time and materials! There are projects that can be checked out, completed at home & returned to the shop. Fabric donations are accepted anytime. We look for 100% cotton or flannel fabric in fun or bright colors, tonal or novelty prints in sizes 6” or larger. Also, minky, cuddle, or fleece in 1½yd cuts or larger.
Giving back to our community is an important part of what we do. Please join us as we plan a great day of sewing to help those that need a hand up. This event is free to attend but pre-registration is required. Be sure to call to reserve your spot.
Invisible Machine Applique $50 (Includes pattern)

If you have always liked the look of applique but weren’t ready to give the time needed to tackle a project that included the “A” word, now is the time to get a good start. Sharyn will teach you her method of invisible machine applique to create a little quilt or pillow top. It can be created in hours using your machine and invisible thread.

June: Citrus Cutwork Apron-you will make a beautiful cutwork apron with lacy citrus slices and delicate white blossoms. This is an opportunity to create cutwork!
July: Lemonade Mug Rug and Redwork Pin Cushion – This charming mug rug is made with fabric and vinyl. Stitch the quilted background in a contrasting color or with a color that blends. Vinyl adds a wonderful dimension to many machine embroidery projects. Then, learn to do redwork on your embroidery machine. Redwork is outline embroidery that was originally done by hand in the late 1800’s with Turkey red thread. Today we can do it in any color and on your embroidery machine!
August: Lovebirds Tandem Bicycle Tote-This tandem design will be stitched on denim and includes lovebirds and baskets of blossoms with fringe flowers. Perfect for a picnic tote, you can personalize the design by adding marriage or anniversary dates for you or as a gift.

September: Sweet Feet Gym Shoes – Have fun learning to customize this project with team colors and personalize the medallion on the shoe. Then fill the shoes with a sleeve of cream filled cookies for a ‘stinkin’ cute gift!
October: Dimensional Mylar Halloween Décor – Experience embroidering with Mylar and tulle while making this seasonal free-standing project. Because it is free standing, we will use the same color thread in both the top and bobbin.
November: Snowman Kisses Pillow – Combine embroidery and quilting skills to make a fun winter pillow. The embroidery features a chenille cuff on the snowman’s hat and cursive backstitch lettering. Then after piecing a pinwheel block, the elements will be sewn together and finished with a classic quilt binding.

PFAFF Owner’s – My Machine Class 3 (Embroidery Basics)
Thursday, July 25 6 – 9 pm Friday, September 13 1 – 4 pm
All computerized embroidery machines will be included in this class. Learn types of needles, hooping fabric, selecting hoop size, adjusting and resizing an embroidery design, creating a combination and much more.
PFAFF Owner’s – My Machine Class 4 (Advanced Embroidery & Connectivity)
Thursday, Aug 29 6 – 9 pm Wednesday, Oct 9 1 – 4 pm
All computerized embroidery machines will be included in this class. In this class we will explore deeper into the features of your machine and work with transferring, saving, and interfacing with your computer. We will also work on precise positioning, moving designs in the hoop, and the shape creator feature.
PFAFF Owner’s – My Machine Class 5 (Software with PC)

Take your embroidery designs to new heights. Whether you’re a beginner and have not yet installed the software or you want to learn more about how to use it, this class is for you. Embroidery software makes it possible for you to create, edit, resize and do more with your embroidery designs. Bring your laptop with the software installed and ready to learn. This is a hands on class where we will explore many of the basic features. There will be time for questions so please bring yours. If you need assistance installing your software please call and schedule a time prior to class.
PFAFF Owner’s – My Serger
Tuesday, Nov 5 6 – 9 pm
All PFAFF sergers will be included in this class. Identify parts, thread and set-up the machine for several stitches, learn basic maintenance, and practice using the 4-thread overlock stitch, 3- thread rolled edge, and the cover lock stitch (for applicable machines).
Class Supply List and Other Information
° Classes listed with a PFAFF in the title are reserved for PFAFF owners only.
° For each class there is a supply list. Please stop by and pick up your supply list for each class you are attending.
° Sewing machines should be in good working order prior to start of class.
° All classes will require basic sewing supplies. Ask us for a basic sewing supply list to ensure you are ready for enjoying your new hobby.
° Payment in full is required at time of registration. Payments can be made in store or by phone.
° In consideration of class mates, children should not accompany you to class. Youth classes that are designed for young sewers are the exception to this rule and parent attendance is required.
° As a courtesy to all attendees, please arrive 15 minutes prior to start of class to set up your machine, organize your supplies and be ready to sew so we can all start on time.
° If you need to cancel your enrollment in a class for any reason a full refund will be given if you provide one week notice. Prior to 48 hours of class start you will be given a class credit toward your next class. If a cancellation is within 48 hours no credit or refund will be given.
